Maple Hollow, Ohio, October 31. At 22:00 Hollow Lane hands out the prize for the scariest yard. But Frank Doyle, the street's Halloween fanatic, lies unconscious in his own prop coffin – bolted shut, full of fog. He survives, barely, but the envelope with 5,000 dollars is gone. The sheriff needs 50 minutes. Until then you have the spook app, the neighbors' doorbell cameras, a photo from the costume contest – and Frank's last note, written in Candy Code.

Is the Special scary?
A little – with fog, pumpkins and skeletons. But there's nothing supernatural and no blood: every spook has an explanation, and the victim survives.
How is it different from the Solo cases?
It's bigger: four questions instead of three, a 50-minute countdown and new kinds of puzzles like the candy code. Otherwise it plays like Mordsteam Solo – on your own, without AI, on any device.
Can I play it after Halloween?
Yes. The code is valid for 12 months, and the case stays available after the season.
Can I pause?
No. The clock starts when you open the file and keeps running. Until then you can take as long as you like.
Can I play the case again?
Yes: up to three times within 30 days of your first playthrough. Each time the culprit, the time and the hiding place are drawn anew, and the matching evidence changes too. Only your first playthrough counts for the comparison.
What is the €5 voucher?
After your first playthrough you get a €5 voucher code – solved or not. Redeem it in the payment step when ordering Mordsteam Friends or Teams. One voucher per order; it can't be combined with the early bird or other offers and can't be exchanged for cash.
Can I give the case as a gift?
Yes. After buying you get a gift card to print or save as PDF. The name is only entered when playing.
